With the summer holidays almost upon us, many young people and their families will be keen to sign up to workshops, classes and camps as a chance to keep busy, learn new skills and socialise.

For aspiring performers aged 11 to 21, In2Drama’s Summer Academy could be just the ticket. Offering five days of tuition taught by industry professionals, covering areas from dance and film production to acting classes and singing and audition masterclasses, the week-long event concludes with the West End’s Kerry Ellis leading a masterclass which provides candidates with an invaluable audition toolkit for the future. Four selected students will also get to sing with Ellis during a concert later that same day.

Young people based in Cranleigh, Guildford, Godalming, Ewhurst or the surrounding areas have the opportunity to attend on a funded scholarship, thanks to the Wates Family Enterprise Trust. If someone you know enjoys performing, shows promise as a performer, works hard, has career aspirations in the arts and comes from a low-income household, encourage them to apply today!

The Summer Academy runs from 22-26 July at the Cranleigh Arts Centre, 20 mins from Guildford – visit in2drama.com/scholarship
