Yve Blake's joyful bubblegum pop musical about teenage hero worship arrives in London from Australia

Fourteen-year-old Edna is madly in love with Harry, the lead singer of her favourite band. She understands him like no one else does, and he reciprocates through his songs. We’ve all been there. Recently, though, she’s noticed that Harry’s eyes aren’t the same. Yve Blake’s original musical is an explosion of girly pop music and sheer teenage joy. Arriving at London's Lyric Hammersmith from Australia, Fangirls lives up to the hype with an enthralling bubblegum score and a sweet story to back it up. It’s big, fun, and it invites a brand new generation to the theatre.
