Cabaret
The Kit Kat Club has taken over the Playhouse Theatre while it has been standing empty, making way for the electrifying musical, CABARET. The marginalised have staked a claim, the artists have taken over, filled their container and found their community.
From 13 Feb – 27 May 2023 the role of Sally Bowles will be played by Aimee Lou Wood (Sex Education, Living) and the role of The Emcee will be played by Olivier Award nominee John McCrea (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie), with Nathan Ives-Moiba taking over the role of Cliff Bradshaw.
One of the most successful musicals of all time, CABARET features the songs Wilkommen, Don’t Tell Mama, Mein Herr, Maybe This Time, Money and the title number. It has music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, book by Joe Masteroff, based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood.
Here we sing, we dance, we love, we live, we drink, we forget. Come hear the music play.
