Emma Kingston and Zizi Strallen to star in Wicked in the West End

As it enters its 19^th year in the West End, Wicked has announced its latest cast to bring the magic of Oz to life from 23 March 2025. Emma Kingston, best known for playing Heather Chandler in Heathers at The Other Palace and Eva Perón in the 2017 international tour of Evita, will be defying gravity eight shows a week as Elphaba. Joining her is previous Olivier-nominated Mary Poppins star Zizi Strallen as Glinda. Strallen was most recently seen in the hip-hop musical Cake as Marie Antoinette at The Other Palace, a role she created and immortalised in its cast album.

The casting comes in the wake of the Wicked mania spurred on by Jon Chu’s record-breaking film adaptation starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, which opened last November. This will certainly bring new Wicked film fans to the theatres and to the stage production that began it all!
