Zeitgeist-y Celine Dion jukebox musical is 100 minutes of sheer camp glory
Part blockbuster parody, part pop culture romp – it is, as the kids say, ‘the moment’. In essence, it’s an extended Saturday Night Live sketch, 100 minutes of sheer camp glory, an irreverent gay extravaganza for the chronically online, totally absurd and enjoyable. It undeniably captures a certain kind of zeitgeist. Ultimately, Titanique is a curiosity, a joyous night out with no strings attached. It’s an invigorating, weird show that will warm you up in the depths of winter. Switch off your brain and enjoy this proudly apocryphal retelling!
Titanique at the Criterion Theatre runs until 30 March 2025 – for more information and tickets, visit london.titaniquemusical.com
